Different velocity given to two gears, A and C, on the same shaft, by the pinion, B

Different velocity given to two gears, A and C, on the same shaft, by the pinion, B.

Only the input is driven; every other part of this model moves by physics (MuJoCo), and its ratios are measured. Run it live, change its parameters, or switch the friction off to see the output stop.

Modelled as
Brown's figure 55: the pinion B (10 teeth, the driven shaft, with its pulley) gears at once with the spur gear A (16) fast on the shaft and the internal gear C (36) loose on it; ZC = ZA + 2 ZB so one centre distance serves both
Measured
A/B −0.6243 (−10/16 = −0.625), C/B 0.2778 (10/36 = 0.2778); max penetration 0.05 mm; also passes at 15 and 60 rpm
Notes
No. 34's straight-flanked teeth at module 0.8, except B's flanks run nearly radial below its pitch circle (No. 34's leave too narrow a space at a 10-tooth root and the mating tips jammed there). PGS (CG blew up at the first contacts). batch7/gen055.py. Negative control: A's teeth out of contact → A stands (0.000) while C still turns.
