A and B are two rollers which require to be equally moved to and fro in the slot, C. This is accomplished by moving the piece, D, with oblique slotted arms, up and down.

Only the input is driven; every other part of this model moves by physics (MuJoCo), and its ratios are measured. Run it live, change its parameters, or switch the friction off to see the output stop.

Modelled as
Front view. The slot C is fixed. The rollers A and B run in it (their slides) on pins that pass back through the oblique slots in D's two arms. The slots slope 0.55 cm across per cm of rise, each the mirror of the other, 0.03 cm clear each side of the pin. The hand moves D up and down 2 cm at 0.25 Hz (the one driven joint). Only the slots' sides move the pins.
Measured
A and B move equally and opposite, B against A slope -1.0005 (r² 0.9999). A moves -0.5657 cm per cm of D and B 0.5660 (r² 0.9996), against 0.55 from the slope; the pins' play in the slots accounts for the difference. The rollers go apart as D rises. The deepest contact is under 0.001 mm.
Notes
Brown gives no sizes. The slot C is drawn and its guiding is the rollers' slides.
